ABOUT CRS LIBRARY
A well-run material library is more than an organized collection. It’s an operational resource that connects designers with the materials, information, and manufacturer relationships they need to do their best work.
BUILT FOR THE WAY DESIGN TEAMS WORK
CRS Library began with a simple observation: material libraries were among the most valuable—and often least supported—resources inside design firms.
After working as a designer, in furniture and interiors, and as a manufacturer’s representative, our founder saw the same challenge across firms of every size. Material libraries held years of product knowledge, manufacturer relationships, design inspiration, and financial investment—yet they were often treated as storage.
The problem wasn’t a lack of care. Design teams simply didn’t always have the time, resources, or operational framework to manage their libraries intentionally.
That realization became CRS Library.
What began as a solution to a recurring problem evolved into a systematic approach to material library operations—one built around the way each individual firm actually works.

WHAT GUIDES OUR WORK
MISSION
To help design firms recognize their material libraries as operational systems and provide a practical methodology for building and managing them.
VISION
A future where every design firm recognizes its material library as a critical operational system that supports better design.
PURPOSE
We exist to help design teams work better—creating operational systems that allow them to focus on design instead of searching for information, managing resources, or maintaining the library.
